I have up to chapter 32 written, and I will be trying to post a new chapter every Friday! Also, I'm working on a cast list here, so that people can keep the Cast of Thousands! straight. thinkatory helped me figure out what Basil looks like, so he will be there soon, along with Jasper and probably Peeves. (Currently my drawing of Peeves looks too much like a Jagermonster. It's probably the teeth.)
Speaking ofthinkatory, I am currently down one beta. For personal reasons, she's not able to beta for me, and as far as I know is not going to be finishing looking over this plot arc, although up to chapter 24 is beta'd. I have a really irregular fiction output -- I mean, uh, it took me two years to get these chapters done -- so I'm not sure having a go-to beta is really a workable thing for me, at least right now when I'm posting this fic as a work in progress, but Kitty sees a lot of the mistakes that I miss, and I would appreciate having someone look over chapters 25-32 for me. (I would send you chapters 19-24 as well; you wouldn't have to beta those, but more eyes is always better.) If I don't find anybody, I'll just post without a beta, so it's not the end of the world.
